Can our posts be painted?
Yes , the posts need to be cleaned first with a vinegar solution or t.s.p. ( tri sodium phosphate ) solution to remove the coating . Then the posts should be primed with a suitable primer and top coated with a finish paint. recommended by your local paint supplier.

How are these posts installed?
The posts should be cemented into an 8" diameter by 24" deep hole. The posts can be set a little below height when bolting on sideboards , sideboards can be set up to 12" above the top of the posts and cut to finished height.

How can gate hinges be mounted?
Gate hinges can be mounted to wood that is bolted to the sides of the posts or directly mounted to the posts with self tapping screws.
